Time to Live Fund

Picture
As a carer, you may be eligible for a grant of an average of £200 to help you get away and unwind.

Funded by The Scottish Government, Time to Live provides support to carers to get a break from caring.

It is up to you how you would prefer to take your break.  It may be a holiday, a weekend away, a college course, a social evening, some professional counselling or perhaps learning to drive to ultimately make your caring responsibilities a bit easier.

Funds are limited and priority will be given to first time applicants who have not had a break in the past 12 months.  Time to Live may be applied for once in a 24 month period.

Who is it for?

The scheme is administered by The Borders Carers Centre on behalf of The Scottish Government and is for carers (over 18) caring for adults (aged 21 years and over).

How do I apply?

Contact the Carers Centre and we will help guide you through the process.   You may also download the application below and send to us for consideration.
